The business this had to model
Mrunal is an e-commerce app for homeopathic doctors, connecting them directly to the supplier - a homeopathic wholesale depot - with no public storefront. Doctors order medicines, ointments and every other homeopathic product through it. A doctor submits a medical registration number and waits 24–48 hours for admin approval before they can check out; every address carries a GSTIN for tax purposes; and every order produces a real 18% IGST tax invoice as a PDF, not a mocked-up receipt.
Pricing isn't flat either: products can define volume tiers, so ordering 10+ units drops the per-unit price automatically. None of this is decorative — it's the actual commercial logic a wholesale pharma business runs on.
Two shells, one account system
Doctors get a 4-tab shell (Catalog, Cart, Orders, Profile); admins get 5 (Overview, Orders, Catalog, Users, Profile) — and an admin can flip an “Admin View” toggle to shop as a doctor on the same login, useful for placing test or manual orders without signing out.
Phones get a bottom tab bar; tablets (≥600px) switch to a static left-side navigation rail. Both shells follow the same responsive rule, since the clinic's staff use it on both phones and tablets.
A calm, clinical design system
The visual language is a soft emerald-and-lime “liquid glass” over an animated aurora backdrop — glass is reserved for chrome and controls (tab bar, search, sheets), while content cards stay opaque so pricing and medical details stay legible. Latin remedy names render in italic Fraunces everywhere they appear, a small detail that keeps the clinical content feeling considered rather than generic.
The interactive HTML build embedded below isn't a mockup — it's the actual design spec the Flutter redesign is being built against, token values and all.
Logistics that need real math
Admins can select a batch of pending orders and get back an optimized multi-stop delivery route from the depot — computed with an exact Held-Karp TSP solver rather than a greedy nearest-neighbour approximation, since the order counts involved are small enough that exact is affordable and worth the better route.
In the clinic
More than 200 doctors order through Mrunal today. Like SalesRoute, it's handed to the clinic as a signed Android build rather than published to the Play Store — it's a closed B2B tool for verified practitioners, not a public app.
